Welcome to my page about my life! My name is Erika Hammerschmidt, and I live in Minnesota.
I graduated from Augsburg College with majors in German and Spanish and a minor in Studio Arts, and I work at Target as well as giving speeches on autism and marketing my book.
I am married to John Ricker, who, like me, is on the autism spectrum.
And since I am too lazy to go to the trouble of changing this page every time I have a birthday, I'm not going to tell you my age, I'll just say I was born on June first, 1981.
I have written a book entitled "Born on the Wrong Planet." It's about my life with Asperger Syndrome and Tourette Syndrome. I'm working on another book, and I'm sure there will be many more in my lifetime.

Erika's Enterprises: Jewelry For Sale
One of my hobbies is making jewelry. Erika's Enterprises, my new jewelry website, is where you can see and buy some of the pieces I have created.
There are a lot of pastimes that interest me, and my hobby page introduces you to a few of them.
I love pets. My Animal Page has pictures of some of my pets and other animals I've made friends with.
