3. Harm to Disabled Characters
There are references to an event in the past that resulted in the deaths of several very young disabled children in an explosion.
There is an instance of physical violence between the autistic narrator as a young child and her teacher (a slap in her face after she bit him). There are instances of bullying and fights between young neurodivergent characters.
There are multiple instances of disabled characters being locked up in small cells and forced to watch videos lecturing them on what they did wrong by the society's standards.
There are instances of derogatory language, and instances of autistic and otherwise neurodivergent characters being treated insultingly and patronizingly by others.
