4. Sexual content
There is swearing and sexual discussion throughout the book. There is a reference to an instance of online sexual roleplay between two teenage characters in the past, not described in much detail.
There are no pregnancies, but there is dialogue about reproduction and the narrator's ambivalence toward it.
There is unconsenting use of a character's donated reproductive cells for genetic engineering purposes.
The narrator stays with a family where the wife is very subservient to the domineering husband. No sexual abuse or physical abuse occurs between them onstage, but the dynamic is clearly unhealthy.
There is a scene where the narrator and another female character infiltrate a party to rescue a prisoner, while dressed attractively to distract male enemies. The narrator receives unwelcome propositions from a man she has to dance with, while she pretends to be intoxicated. She is uncomfortable with the situation, but escapes unharmed.
The sexual harassers from the beginning of the previous book get even more of what's coming to them.
